I started reading this a long time ago but stopped because I found Edward so distasteful. However I couldn't stop thinking about it, especially as I read many inferior works of fan fiction (and original fiction, honestly), but had lost it. Luckily, I recently happened back upon it and gave it another chance. It's now one of my all time favorite fanfics. Your writing is lovely.

I’ve been seeing this story for years and I’ve always had it saved but after going through a traumatic experience of being mentally abused by a partner, I could never read it, as soon as I get to this chapter, I’m balling my eyes out. I’m finally strong enough to commit to finishing it.

Wow! Just read found this for the first time and the favorites hold up! While I can't say that I particularly LIKE Edward or Bella as people in this story, and I can't necessarily identify with some of the choices they make, I can recognize that I am not supposed to. The fact that Bella was reading Wuthering Heights is very apt given how imperfect both her and Edward are. I was also glad to see that Michael was not nearly as problematic as I assumed him to be based on the first few chapters, that was a welcome surprise.
My favorite parts were probably the flashbacks as they added so much suspense and color to the story. The entire piece was masterfully written and I am sad to see you haven't created more on the platform. I'm so glad I found this story, it was a pleasure to read and I hope others can find it as well.

Wow. I'll be honest, I needed to wait a day after binge reading this story to be able to form any semblance of coherent response. This was my first time reading, and I can't say how many times this story has been recommended to me. I see now why.
Your exposition and story telling is masterful, and I do not use that word lightly. The composition of this story was genuinely artful. I often struggle reading 3rd person as I find it pulls me too far back from the story, but in this instance it was exactly the right call. Your writing was a master class in how to delicately balance 3rd person-panning to the right people at the right moment to give the reader those perfect little crumbs to keep the story going.
I was also blown away by the character arc of Edward. He was brilliantly depicted, and his journey was absolutely incredible. Every nuance, every thought he had seemed perfectly planned, and I felt his energy radiating off the screen throughout this whole story.
Beside him, I did feel that Bella feel short of her potential. I felt like because she never owned up to her part in the dysfunctional relationship-as well as let the men around her just tell her how and who to be-she needed something more to be on the same level as Edward was.
I was also hoping for more from the ending. We always say this when a story is good, but with the phenomenal turmoil and struggle they went through-not to mention the power of their love in the first place-I felt like the ending should have reached some sort of climactic Everest if you will.
Regardless of these two points, the story was brilliant, and though I see you've not written anything more in fanfiction, I hope that in your personal life you continue to write. You have a gift for the nuances of characters, which is rare, and reading this as a writer, I was continually blown away by your craft.
