Wow, I got teary eyed (again) when she confessed why she didn't see him for 6 years. Sounds like he really broke her heart. I'm not sure I was happy to see Emmett although I'm sure Bella is thrilled. Good job - can't wait for more.

aww i got my own shoutout? i feel so special now! :) i would totes use a crawling edward wisely...dont worry. ;D

i really enjoyed the parts about edward and bella in high school. you paint him very well, and i could see the scenes playing out in my head, like a movie or a dream, where boys would look at bella and girls would talk shit about her, and she and edward would hold hands. im picturing it all in darkened blurred tones..like wonky flashbacks to the memories in movies that the characters dont want to think about.

edward seems to have some serious fucking problems, and yes, he is a complete asshole, but somehow through all of it, i can see that thats not all. i mean, bella wouldnt give a shit about him if he were just 100% douchebag. theres some good in there, beyond the jealousy and the possessiveness, even if its hard to see. and obviously his feelings for bella kind of go beyond everything else. i mean, he can read minds, and hes known her forever. the fact that he isnt sick or bored of her says something kind of big about what she means to him.

now, he is a little scary. like carlisle feels, i think that edwards intelligence is impressive and frightening. the constant strategizing and working against everyone to get whatever he wants is not something that would make anyone feel comfortable. it even freaks me out a little bit. and his determination and how sure he is of things, like when he was telling her how good it WILL be to fuck her and how hes so controlling and demanding, telling her to call mike and just end their engagement..that frightens me too. but i feel like bellas got a handle on this shit. like no one else could deal with that..at least, i know i couldnt. if someone treated ME like this in real life, i would have no clue what to do. i would be terrified. id probably just lock myself in my house and never come out haha

this review doesnt really adequately cover my feelings about this update, but my mind is too sludged for me to really convey much...so just know that i am still loving this story- a lot.

cracked me up. go you for being an aussie and still knowing little shit about the US..like that 60% of the inhabitants of Kentucky are severely inbred, and that Forks is a huge logging town. haha Smeyer made it out to be this cute little town in the books. and no. just no. ive been to forks and its horrible. its full of unemployed, drunk, angry hicks. and la push is full of alcoholics, like every reservation in this country sadly is...

but anyways. i like that you included those little references to shit up here.
