amazing amazing story! This is definitely one of my favs on FF. I just love everything about it. the summary doesn't really match the tone of the story though, but it gets the point across. I'm also sort of a singer myself, so that interested me as well.
I really really hope you update soon.
Keep up the amazing work! :)

I can hardly believe what you've done with the Twilight caracters: this is absolutely briliant!
One day I hope to see the end of your fascinating story.

very good story, really interesting start (: but I was hoping for a human edward, I'm not very fond of vampire or whatever Edward actually, so I was passing to tell you that your story rocks ! but sadly it's not my type.

after reading this for several days I finally get to this final chapter and I can't tell you how disappointed I am that it was so short and its been almost a year since you posted this last chapter. I truly hope this story is not in hiatus as I would love to see you finish such a wonderful piece of work. I would like to urge you to please finish so we all can get some closure to this wonderful story

I needed a walk down fanfic memory lane so I recently had the pleasure of re-reading Canzone. It is such a lovely and well-written story. I hope that some day you have the time, energy and interest to complete it - it would be wonderful to see how you wrap up all of these threads.

Thank you for writing.

"I know, with a deep sharp stab of certainty, that if anything ever happens to separate us, the memory of this moment will make the rest of my life truly unbearable. Sometimes the ache of nostalgia sets in immediately."

Oh dear, I hope that isn't foreshadowing, but something tells me it is. :-/ I don't see how Edward will be able to avoid touching Aro's hand once he's in Volterra. He'll have to be punished for hiding Alice and Jasper... Ack. This makes me very nervous.

Oooh, what an exquisite cliff hanger ending for this chapter. As you've written over the years you have certainly mastered the art of the most tantalizing suspense between scenes and characters. Everyone shines so vividly on the page I can almost see them, out in the jungle, fire flickering, low red light glancing off skin as everyone huddles close, wondering what on earth Alice sees inside the future in her mind.

Marcus out in the forest? Did not see that coming. What a delicious twist!

Such a marvel and a joy - the quality of your writing. I love it!

Yesss. So good! And I *love* that Shivaree song! It fit really well this chapter.

Phew. That was an insane chapter. I'm almost out of breath from reading it. So much action, in several different forms. Must. click. next. chapter.

Uh oh. I fear this isn't going to go well for E and B...

Also, this: "Aro reminds me of the most charming velociraptor in Jurassic Park" is maybe the best description of Aro I've yet to read. bahahah.

Aaaah. Crap. Crapity crap crap. That cannot be good. Man, as soon as Alice needed to grab Edward I *knew* something bad was gonna go down.

Also, this:
"Gentle darkness envelops us as the last candle flickers out, and with a final sigh we say goodbye to our solitary pasts. As he sings, I sleep, and we are one, naked and new."

Are you kidding me with that? I can't handle it. Such a lovely line.

*sigh* Such a lovely chapter. How is it possible your story contains just so many lovely things? All the music? All the poetry? I *adore* Baudelaire. Seeing his grave in the cimetière Montparnasse on a rainy summer day is one of my all-time favorite memories. Is it strange that a cemetery is one of my all time favorite places on earth? Because it is. I love that cemetery. But back to L'invitation, I had no idea that it was a song as well! I think Baudelaire would love that. It's beautiful.

And then this, "I want you to understand that anything within me that could ever come to such a disastrous decision has been destroyed not only by long decades of loneliness and regret, but in your warmth." Gah.

"The rain becomes a flood, and I can't tell his touches from my own any more, as one touch becomes ten, a hundred, a thousand. I love you, returns the echo, and like the touch, I no longer know which one of us isn't saying it. It flies between us, unspoken and free."

And you keep killing me... I keep dying. I didn't know it was possible to die more than once. Apparently it is. That line is ridiculous. I love it. And that song, Cucurrucucú Paloma is so beautiful. I can picture them dancing to it, so sad and sweet.
