Not much different from the Love Hina manga, yet at least. You mentioned Ranma's curse, but I want to be clear, does he still have his curse? If he does wouldn't it have been better if he, or rather she, entered the hot spring as a female? This way when Naru walks in on her she doesn't suspect anything, then later when they are introduced to the curse it could come back to haunt him, just a thought thought though...

Good job. I like how you blend Ranma's and Keitaro's life together. That's quite interesting. Simply putting Ranma's soul in Keitaro's body would probably have been boring.

Once again great chapter! I was not expecting you to re-write Keitaro's history, I was actually just hoping you tossed Ranma into his life as Keitaro's first day at the inn started. Either way this will just make it more interesting. ^^

Interesting start, so we know that Ranma will be taking over Keitaro's life from the beginning. This already ensures hilarity as both Ranma and Keitaro are not very well acquainted with the opposite gender...hehehe. I do wish you had elaborated more on who 'gramps' was, or are you trying to keep the 'mystical-entity' feeling?
