Hey, my first review in months...heh.
I absolutely loved this one-shot, i really think it's one of your best. It's so conclusive, but in the end it isn't really and it leaves you wondering what happens next.

He. I loved this. It's the first post-finale fic that's made me feel hopeful. We got a glimpse of Brennan realizing her feelings for him, and it feel very much in character for her, realizing this, to take some time to come to terms with it and be sure. The whole thing feels very peaceful and un-angsty, which is very much how I see them dealing with it.
Anyways, sorry it was so hard for you to write (it's so hard to muster those same feelings in the off-season), but it was a pleasure to read and made me look forward to season 5 even more.

Catching up on my R&R...
I know I've said it before, how your stories have always been good but how they keep getting better and better.
As always it is interesting to see how the episodes inspire your fics and what you do with it. I love how you build on the season finale with Booth's illness and surgery and the effect it must have had on Booth and Brennan and their relationship and how you, very realistically, let that lead to Brennan dealing with her own background and who she is and ultimately to what she and Booth are to each other. Bravo!
The first paragraph is a brilliant way of tying her recent trip, her mental as well as her physical one, with the present and how it has affected her and her outlook on things. You sum it up perfectly in the second paragraph: **about life, about love and about him.
I love the details that sets the tone, eg **she reveled in the warm, albeit a bit too tight, embrace
Everything is familiar yet new.
B&B are moving forward and so are you in your writing. Thank you for sharing :)

This is beautifully sweet. And I really liked it that it does go about the amnesia thing, but about what comes after which i hadn't seen in here before- so unique. And very weel written. I'm glad you decided to exercise those muscles.

...Me! Me! Me! *waves hand vigorously* :-)
**Writing this was like pulling teeth or forcing myself to exercise.
...you must be good at pulling teeth & exercising, coz you are so good at writing these sweet fics. I always know that when I receive an alert from you, that I will get my required dose of B&B fluff...there is no need for me to sneak to the end to make sure that all ends up right in our little B&B world. lol.
Loved the opening paragraph with the flashbacks to her childhood which smoothly led us to where Brennan had been for the last few days. She had gone away to get some perspective, to put her life in order, to put the past to rest...so that she was free to move on - 'to move forward' - & beyond with her life.
**she hadn’t realized how much she’d missed it. She’d been away; away from home, away from him, away from them.
...aww...this was very sweet. :-)
I like the way that they had grown, with each other, just eased into wanting more from their relationship - no catastophic event to act as a catalyst, just coming to a realization.
Loved that it was Brennan who took that first step, entwining their hands together & acknowledging that there was an "us" & how certain she was about it.
**but she had to be certain before she risked her heart… and his.
...another example of her personal growth, not only thinking of her own feelings but also concerned for Booth's.

I loved it! Really adorable as usual and felt really "grown up." Completely mature. Loved how it wasn't building up to a kiss but to an actual relationship. Can't wait for more... after all without the show, its fics that keeps us running!
