I've just finished reading this for the third time maybe? I have never written a review though. Quarentine made me rediscover this story. What a ride. Really. It's been years and your words still manage to make me fly. Such a great story and beautifully written. Too bad it's unfinished but that's how things work sometimes. I'm well passed the bitterness of not reading any more of your story and now I can simply enjoy it for what it is. Still hope we could have had more. But well, I guess I'll see you and James and Lily and Sirius and Remus and Marlene and Mary and Adam and Donna and Peter in a few years for another reread. Hope you are well during this madness, Jules. Thank you for the wonderfull 36 chapters.

This may be odd as a review but I love the fact that you’ve made me learn many new words in English! Granted, its not my first language so it may explain things, but it’s rare that I read fanfictions with rich vocabulary!

James and Lily never talk about things that don’t matter. And I love how Lily realises that talking to people that don’t know so much about you is sometimes easier.

That part with Alice and Frank was very sweet. Beautiful really. It was a very soft moment but it conveyed a lot of emotions. Thank you for making me love all the characters in this story.

I am late to finding this story, but I am so glad I happened across it. You write snappy dialogue SO SO well. The cannon books are filled with clever one liners and believable back and forth arguments. Your piece has that same cleverness, but with the added bonus of more "mature" content, which as a former teenager I would say is very age appropriate. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing this.

This is most definitely, positively, no doubt about it— the absolute BEST fanfiction I have ever read and I’ve been reading fanfiction for quite a few years now for all different fandoms. I have read nothing but this fanfiction for the past two days and I will be done with this fanfiction probably by tomorrow morning at 5:30 am, and you better bet that’s all I’m doing until then.

I’m in awe. In awe of your writing, in awe of this plot, in awe of the absolute journey I’ve been taken on. I loved ever single second of this read. I wish it were cannon it’s just that perfect of a fit in the wizarding world. You made things click into place. You made me honest to goodness fall in love with all the characters. I do wish all the small details had been closed off (cmon that first kiss btw Lily and James tho), but I don’t think I would change anything about how this is written. Everything about this was so intentional. Every bit of the story made it all the more real. You didn’t write to please the readers. It almost feels like you wrote for the sake of the story, for the characters. I just... I haven’t had that much joy and sheer enrapturement in reading in too too long. I hope you really out there in the world writing such amazing stories, but if not I really hope you still write because you have a gift. It is beyond me how easily you captured the norms of the time period. I really am so glad that I found this fanfic, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. Your themes and undercurrents to this story will last as long as people find the Harry Potter universe enchanting. Thank you for writing about something that matters. :)

I especially loved the way Lily said she was nice but not weak. I’ve noticed that it’s one of your main strengths as a writer and that you have done so in every chapter: you effortlessly convey big meaning.
