Oh wow, I fail at life...you advertised this in the forum like..ages ago and even I forgot to check new posts (some forum head huh? :S) Anyway, I thought this was really cute...totally sounds like Numair and very sweet of him..I can totally see Daine teasing him about it and not even knowing he was doing it for her.
Btw, excellent opening line 'Numair was hot, sweaty..' teehee, sorry, couldn't resist.
Anyway, really cute one-shot. BTW I posted a new thread in the forum (hopefully we'll get some life in it yet) about Numair's age..apparently we've all had it wrong..you should go check it out. Anyway, again, great job..hope to see more from you soon!

This is funny :) You also had more dialogue than you gave yourself credit for! If you want some advice, try to cut back on the use of Numair's name. Maybe its just me, but you seem to use it a lot...but then again maybe its just me. :)

BOOM! lol, i found that one word really funny.
aw, poor numair, all he wanted to do was bake some pastries
:(
i thought the story was really cute and funny, and i can so imagine daine finding out through palace gossip numair's "incident" in the kitchens, and numair looking completely mortified.
oh, and i couldn't help but laugh, at the part where numair hopes kitten didn't poke holes in all the cupcakes. lol...
