I really really hope that Lucius's part in all this is Shacklebolts way of trying to round up the last of the death eaters and/or clean out the ministry because if not...it's definitely gonna get ugly. Percy being there makes me lean toward that idea but on the other hand, he has always been a prat so who knows? I hope Hermione gets Draco and Harry together soon so they can swap info...

Oh boy, definitely looking forward to a couple things! One, Draco's convo with Lucius and the questions he asks, the fact that he wants Hermione there makes it even more interesting. Second, Lucius's reaction to Draco's romantic interest in Hermione. And third, what the heck is going on at the ministry?! Lucius getting out kinda suddenly with no real explanation, and Percy hiring Umbridge? Very fishy! Or should I say toady? lol! Wow that wasn't very pun-ny at all...hehehehe

He indignation over 'the trace' is as admirable as it is adorable! I also loved that he recognized the muggleborns Slytherinness, lol! Even if it makes me nervous because of Tom Riddle, it just figures that wizards/witches that grow up in the muggle world, if they are Slytherins, figure out how to control their magic earlier than others because they use it to get away with stuff, it's their cunning and ambition that pushes them to it where as the other houses, not so much. The real irony of it is that these people are the least accepted in Slytherin, lol. So they most likely have always been sorted into other houses, and maybe didn't always feel like they belonged because it wasn't the house they should have been in. I hope that changes though, I think it would be hilarious if Draco becomes a mentor of sorts to the first muggleborn Slytherin.
I also find myself kind of wishing that this is one of those fics where Snape ends up not actually being dead. Draco has mentioned repeatedly that he misses him and wishes he could have his ear once again, not to mention to apologize to him for his sixth year. I don't think it will happen but it would be a happy surprise if it does. Im also really curious about Draco's mom and her comments about how her behavior was mostly a reflection of her loyalty to Lucius and not her own personal beliefs, and how she would be willing to answer Draco's questions when he wants to ask them. I think it will prove to be a very interesting conversation. Not to mention the talk Draco is bound to eventually have with his father, although I think that one is going to be more of a confrontation than anything, especially if he still maintains all of his previous opinions on muggleborns and muggles that Draco clearly doesn't agree with any longer. I just loving this fic so far!

Awwww! I loved this chapter! That conversation was so heartfelt and real, I love that! So many writers have them just falling for each other immediately and with their past, that is just so unrealistic! This feels like a very authentic way for them to start being friends.

If Ron has the emotional capacity of a teaspoon then Draco is at about a tablespoon, lol. He has the thoughts but has no idea how to get them out, on the bright side he does want to figure out how to. I have a feeling Hermione is going to be there to help him.

WOW! Interesting point of view when you explained about the history of house elves and the Malfoy family during the witch hunt! It is amazing how you always incorporate such details in your stories, it makes all very believable! :) Kudos to you!
