I like how every other chapter has a name, and then chapter seven is just 'Chapter 7'. Pretty lame if you ask me. XD
I like your twist! It always crossed my mind that there had to be some reason that Vitani didn't look like Nuka or Kovu or even ZIRA and it BUGGED ME SO MUCH!
So it's nice to know that her being Nala's child is a possibility.
Good job and a nice ending to your story!
...I suggest coming up with a better title for Chapter 7...

This was a great finish to an overall great story.
At first I was thinking maybe the passage of time was too quick then I began to appreciate the swiftness of time transitions. After all if an author lingers to much the story becomes boring and just less enjoyable.
I will definitely check out you Coraline story if you choose to write one and I do hope you return to write more Lion King stories!

You're in IB too! I escaped a couple years ago...except now I'm at an even harder school. Oh well...at least they know what they're doing there.
Anyway, good conclusion. I never thought of Nuka having an actual mental illness as opposed to just being a coward, so that was an excellent twist. Same with Vitani...although to be perfectly honest, I wasn't that surprised about Nala being her mother. It's not because you did anything wrong...it's just all three of those cubs' parents are so ambiguous, it's pretty easy to imagine anyone being their mother or father. That being said, you still did a good job with this, especially with the ending scene.

Oh my goodness. I feel dumb. I meant to say in my review for "Confessions", that I hope Nala ISN'T expecting Scar heir. Which would lead up to when I said "I would have to open my mind to that".

I'm guessing I should stop rambling now and actually review. Another good chapter...you do a nice job explaining how Nala managed to catch up with (and apparently pass Simba) on the way back to Pride Rock, and also with the unique parentage of Scar's heirs (though I guess I already mentioned that...). Good luck with the college stuff (all I have to compare to that is one AP class, but I think I can still understand the situation well enough), and hopefully you'll have time to update soon.

Well, I was half right...I'm not surprised I didn't get the biblical references, though. My family isn't exactly what you'd call religious...
I agree, it is better when you don't completely follow the established history. Taka's story here was much better than the "Daddy loved him best" crap that people normally fall back on. It also adds an interesting twist to Nala's relationship with Scar...I'm beginning to wonder just how AU you're planning to go here. Perhaps Nala will fight for Scar in the coming battle?
This is gonna be good, whatever ends up happening. Update fast, s'il vous plait.
