JKR should have realized what you did. Harry and Ginny is wrong, very wrong. Harry Hermione, Harry Luna, Harry Daphne, Harry Padma, Harry Susan are a go but coupling Harry and Ginny is like coupling Harry and Pansy Parkinson or oil and water.

Ginny actually has light brown eyes, not green. Her hair is a bright orange, not a 'thick, dark red', as it says Lily has in the book. Nor does she have the emotional factor Lily does, so it is a wonder why people are mistaking Ginny for Lily. In fact, except for the reddish-orange hair, they are completely different.
I do not mean to judge, I know there is a lot of people who are saying Lily looks like Ginny even though they don't look alike, but I'm just putting it out there. I hope you don't take offense.

Honestly, if you are convinced that a boy should not fancy a girl because she has the same colour hair as his mum...well, should Draco not be allowed to fancy a blonde?
Harry has already seen pictures of his mum at Ginny's age, and they looks nothing alike.
Anyone who takes this issue seriously has problems they need to sort out.
