Love everything about this. You write them all so well

In response to your author's note - HA! As if anyone could not read this through to the end.

I was really missing the show tonight for some reason and this totally hit the spot. Sarah and Derek doing what Sarah and Derek do best - surviving against impossible odds, having each other's backs, and making time for dry wit in between crises.

I am very jealous of your ability to write action. The amount of detail at times is incredible, but you balance it so well with dialogue and keep the forward momentum so that the detail never gets tedious. How is that possible?! I'm really looking forward to reading your other stuff!

A great story. You really nailed Sarah and Derek. Great spelling and grammar.

never ever a dull moment w/this author. highly recommended for an adrenalin rush and writing as good as an actual episode. :)

OMG, that really all I can say for this moment, just having finished reading it.

This is so good, so beautiful in a strange way, I really love the story. There are so much hurt and pain, and yet you have created a Sarah Connor and a Derek Reese that match perfektly to their characters, they would never give up, they would go on fighting, even if it cost them their lives. I love it! And I love the relationship between Sarah & Derek, you have created, they might someday be lovers, but all they really need is each other as friends, friends who wants to fight for you, even to die for you.

To tell you the truth I haven't read this chapter yet. So probably I will pm you with a real review of the story when I am done reading it.

But the first thing I noticed is that you handled the medical jargon and fist aid like you knew what you were talking about. And that's rare on this site. I am just a measely lifeguard with a bit of extra training for flavor that sometimes moonlights as medic, but I read your profile and I now see that I guessed right about your profession.

Also, I don't understand why this isn't reviewed. You write very smoothly, you have an immersive style, and my favourite bit is that you have whumped Derek. (which I realize may seem odd compared with the rest of the previous sentance.)

I thought I'd send this now, while I was awake, to let you know now that I appreciate your writing. I realize that you have obviously finished the story, but thanks for taking time to do this.

Only four reviews? I tell you people are missing out on some high adrenaline, action packed and intense writing.

Phew, I had to take a breath after reading that one. What a thrill ride! I love your version of Sarah... you keep the spirit of the show and yet without the restrictions of TV you take it to another level. It is obvious your medical knowledge is a great help to your writing, and it adds so much more realism and grit. Did I mention how much I loved this? :)

I could have easily done with another 6 chapters of this story. I was a little sad to see it end!

I eagerly look forward to reading the sequel and anything else you share with us.

Thanks for writing.

Ya did great! I like seeing the dynamic between Sarah & Derek. I also liked how you had the transmitter removed alot better than they did on the show. Looking forward to the next one.

Just a heads up - you're likely to get more reviews if you post chapters slowly (say a chapter a week rather than two a day for this one).

Also, I liked this very much. It had a great feel of tension about the whole thing, and the whole empathy/catharsis thing for Sarah's horrible crippling injury. The minor characters involved were involved to the extent that they felt interesting but not forcibly inserted (the couple who let Derek and Sarah hitchhike and the doctor), and the few short bits where you reveal Kaliba's machinations are well done.

Overall, I like this piece of writing. I hope you get a lot more feedback, because this is good work.

I loved this story! I couldn't stop reading it. You take the hurt/comfort stuff to a new level! I love the way you portray Sarah and Derek, and the way they interact with each other. I also enjoyed the action. It was fast-paced and exciting. Also, your imagery is very descriptive and beautifully done. I'll be looking forward to the sequel.
