sounds like a good idea, but i would hope that you wouldn't have them changed at such young ages, 16 and 17 would mean that they're really still just kids, and would be stuck in an eternity of high school...i think being older and having careers and college would be more realistic of what parents would want of their children.

I think that idea is really a good one. If you decide to go that route I will definitely be her to read every chapter. This is a story that I love and sad to see end. It would be nice to see it continue in some fashion.
