You entirely won me over from the moment Knightley said "are you self-aggrandizing again?"
I really like these sweet and short snippets. Chapter 4 was especially adorable, with little Emma trying to get a rise out of Knightley and failing utterly.
Never fear, you are totally allowed to be inspired by film versions, especially that one. It's my favorite adaptation of 'Emma.'

Proper drabble length is 100 words? Oops (*suddenly realises that own drabbles are starting to push 500 words in length*).
This was another great one, a perfect counterpart to Mr Knightley's jealousy. I love the way she at first is adamant that she only wants him to stay single so that her nephew inherits Donwell, but then by the end of the drabble she's sort of questioning herself.
As for the line from the KB/MS version, 'I'm sure I don't know' - I vaguely remember Mr Knightley telling Emma she doesn't play as well as Jane because she doesn't practice - is that it? (I remember thinking the way he said it was pretty tactless - Emma practically wilted)
I love reading these drabbles, so I hope you're not going to be updating sporadically! (Ha, I used 'sporadically' in a sentence today)

Lovely - I like how rationally, Mr Knightley can see that Frank is doing worse by Jane, but he is more upset by what Frank is doing to Emma.

Very cute - I love how you integrated lots of the 'fingers' moments into one drabble. Now I must go and rewatch parts of episode 4 with this fanfic in mind (how tedious, LOL...)!
