Hm, I loved the Edward POV. He is a spoiled brat and had his world completely shaken - by his own actions. Love it. This was just the wake-up call he needed (not to sound inpersonal about such a horrific accident because it sounds realy gorry and tramatising, but I have to try and find a silver lining in every cloud - sorry). It always gets worse before it gets better and that is so true for both Bella and Edward. Looking forward to the next update.

I am so disappointed that Edward wasn't sounding more guilty in his POV, like right after the accident. I actually feel bad for him; it seems it WAS a weather-related accident (we know ALL about those here in Canada) and for people he knows and loves to assume he did it on purpose is disgusting. They need to keep saying 'You didn't do this on purpose so stop feeling guilty and make up for what happened as best as you can' even though he doesn't sound like he feels guilty, because he REALLY does, so much so that he can't deal with it. And I don't think he deserves what Bella wished on him ie for him to become HER, despised by everyone. Her rise shouldn't have to coincide with his fall. And while I can reasonably understand her anger after everything she's been through, I'm not someone who believes that strength and standing up for yourself necessitates being mean. Standing up for herself: great! Being a jerk back to Edward because he has been to her? Well, 2 wrongs don't make a right and he's about ready to have a breakdown here so I can't respect her if she goes on the attack, although I will forgive her. LOOK at everything she's been through! I hope everyone, including Edward, will treat her with the respect she deverves. I'm also glad Charlie is standing up for her now. Sorry for rambling! Good chapter!

augh! edward! he is seriously messed up! brilliant chapter i love the way you are making us read a totally different edward.. cause im sure that everyone, just like me, thought that he would show some remorse. There are so many stories that show edward bad at the start,then something happens and straight after he's remorseful. You are taking it one step further and i have to commend you for that!...I think its about time bella stands up and sticks up for herself and give edward a hard time! seriously though well done! and please update soon!:)

I honestly say that this story has moved me enough to leave a review which is quite historical in the seven years Ive been reading at this sight. And I can tell you I've read a lot of stuff.
Keep it up! I can't wait to see what else you have under your sleeve. I am just waiting for the moment where Edward breaks down, and we figure out what Renee did to Bella. -Brandir

Unfortunately it took the crash to provoke these changes
But it will be enlightening to see what the changes will be for both of them
His attitude may change towards her faster if he was to find out a small fraction of what she has had to deal with as opposed to his charmed existence

I kinda thought the begining of the chapter was alittle lame, it's seemed to just drag on, didn't seem like you were really into it. But you finished up really nicely. :) That is all that matters can't wait for you to update again.

Great chapter. This EPOV seemed to hit all the right notes. I really like how you're not changing his character on a dime. It's important that he's still a dick for the story to retain its integrity. This is one of my favorite fics, and I think you're doing an incredible job. The characters you've created are complex and if I haven't mentioned it before, Renee creeps me the fuck out.
