I threw a wrist weight.. The kind that looks like a thick, heavy bracelet. Passed it off as swinging it around on my finger, though there's no way it would've had enough force to actually break the window just from swinging it around.

I haven't thought about that in around 10 years.
Parents are really good at not seeing what they don't want to see. Depressed teenage kids.. Their own kids.. Are definitely things they don't want to see.
