I am Skipping Edward's early parts (Or all together). If Edward cant use his gifts this advantage in a fight... then there is no point reading his dilemma. his drama seems fake and unnecessary. couldve ended at the first encounter but got unnecessarily stretched. Let's see what BPOV has to say. . .

Wow... Edwards Excuses about not telling Alice he is her maker, was just the LAMEST excuse I've ever heard. SHame on him. He just wanted to live guilt-free. Had nothing to do with defending a damn thing. Dude is the most pathetic being imaginable.
Oh... and he or James can't fight for shit. Sorry, but from what I've read, none of them had any skill whatsoever.

Ahhh... Edward is a mindreader, right? Why wasn't any of that present for the fight? Like... absolutely none of it. SMH.
Why put a lid on it? To make the fight more 'dramatic' ? Smh Why such blatant manipulation of gifts/ plot tools, ( A well known advantage) just to put James on equal footing? Edward should've just taken on all three, and arrive at the same end result of the fight if that was the result you wanted. SMH Why water down his gift to 'useless' just to stretch out/ increase drama? Reads Fake at that point.

Well this doesn't make sense. Firstly, why does he participate? He could just ignore James. James will kill people anyway, it's his diet. Also, why doesn't Edward just make a plan with his family telling them to follow him at a pace and when Edward has James occupied have his family come and attack James together. Problem solved.

I was kinda pissed Edward killed that lion despite knowing it had newborn babies. Why leave the babies alive at all? So that they'd slowly die of starvation? How cruel is that?

Omg that was sooooo good! I love how you finished their supernatural powers (easier to kill, Alive's visions as less all encompassing etc) and how it ended on a bittersweet note!
