Despite the fact that Bella really does not see herself, my heart breaks for her. But I'll say this, she should never, EVER hide who she is.
She is a highly intelligent, witty, sharp, quick witted, funny, passionate...chess player. Lol. Not a damn thing wrong with that. Period!

I really like your story. It made me laugh and cry (a really good cry though). I love the interaction with everyone and it's refreshing to not have all six of them in the same grade/school at the same time. It's also interesting having Renee as the main parent. That's different for me to read about. I love your Emmett (esp. that he's smart) and the nature of their three some friendship. I can totally relate to that aspect. In the beginning you actually made me want to like Jake (esp. In opposition to Edward's asshole behavior) but now I can totally feel something bad happening with him. Can't wait to see where you go with this.

I have to admit, being primarily a Jake-o-phile, that it's been pretty funny to imagine Edward bruised and battered in this fic. It's really pretty amusing.
