I wanted to make a quick suggestion.
You know the song which Oogie Boogie sings when he finally meets 'Sandy Claws'? Well, Near Matt, and Mello kidnap Light and the song lyrics begin when Near, Matt, and Mello finallly reveal themselves to Light and are like "This is Kira? What a dissapointment."
And may I recomend Mikami as the Kira Supporter they carve up?
By the way, I love your story.

one thing; Matt's car is a Chevrolet Chevelle. but other than that, this is awesome! XD Near & L seem a little OC, (hm... L I could MAYBE see doing that, actually... maybe...) but it's awesome anyways!
