Ooooh, interesting premise. My guess is that Nekozawa set the whole thing up to get the club back together. Hope it works.
(I was so, SO distraught when I read that episode, too. Don't worry, things don't stay bad for too long.)
As for another pairing, I can't really see Renge with Kyoya-she's too silly and I don't think he'd stand for it, long-term. But I could see her with one of the twins.

RengeXKaoru make a good pair. Just saying. And, I loved loved loved chapte 80, but hated that haruhi is getting together with tamaki! Hikaru deserves haruhi, not that Baka idiot person with that shiny blonde hair and stupid rich clothes and everything...hikaru is way betterthan any of that! I swear!

nice story... poor kyouya though... and ouran chapter 80 was seriously cool... i mean how the hell could they just produce helicopters and boats like that? O_O and the fact that haruhi and tamaki held hands the whole way to see anne-sophie is just too cute! *squeals*
