sweet, I'm glad Arthur didn't react badly. Shape-shifting Merlin was an awesome twist, though I'll bet it took a lot out of him considering how tired he was. Cool part, Merlin (the legend) is a shapeshifter said he could turn into an owl.

Clicking this link was a bit of a gamble for me, as I've never really read a story where Merlin wasn't just a wizard, but a shapeshifter too. I really enjoyed this twist! And I positively swooned when Merlin called Arthur "my Alpha".

Awesome story. Loved the plot and the way you made it happen. It seemed true to the universe and I really loved the way Arthur wanted to keep Merlin safe. I always like Merlin as an animal as long as he still knows Arthur as is alpha and him protecting his prince is always good. Oh and I loved the way your mind suddenly gives you an idea totally random.
