A promise is debt, so here I am reviewing one of your fics. Nice, intense piece. I like to think that Goku isn't the bidimensional good guy he appears to be at first sight, and you gave shape to this idea with tear-wrenching credibility. I am totally attuned to another idea you express as well: given his simple personality, Goku wouldn't know how to handle guilt after making a choice that's right for the Earth but wrong for his friends and family, like staying dead after the Cell Game. Good job!

ya, then he actually stuck around for 10 yrs and was able to be there for gohan when he got married and had his first child and he got to see goten grow up

I always thought Goku knew it was going to die that's why he leave a gift to Chichi; Goten.
for Goku, his family and friends was the most important, that's why he sacrifice without thinking twice :( I´m very sad that they live 7 years without him, but when Goku comes back to life for one day and he meets with all your loved ones, I think is one of the best episodes of the series ^^ (especially when Goku approaches a his wife and tells her he's miss her (L)aww ).
