Just read this for the first time. Loved it. I thought there was going to be bits with each of the guys, so a little disappointed it ended here. Hopefully there's more somewhere that I also missed?

Sorry to take so long getting around to reviewing this story! I enjoyed David's backstory, and gaining some insight into his relationship with his big brother.
Loved Sam's description of the Rat Patrol relative to Dietrich - "more sneakier and more luckier" - that's the Rat Patrol, all right! And I'm sure Dietrich would agree.
And I agree with the brothers Troy - Dietrich was definitely a class act, and he's definitely the prime suspect for the return of the cap.
I would love to see more RP stories from you on ffnet.

There is no such thing as a "wooden Nissen hut". They are made from corrugated iron and are still produced today, under license, in several countries. They were first built for British troops in WW I and and were adopted by the U.S. in WW II only renamed "Quonset " huts. The rest of the story is about what one would expect from a "Rat Patrol" script.

Very nice story. I have always loved the dynamic of Troy's younger brother being higher ranked than him; I loved the little jokes you made about it.
My absolute favorite part was when they were talking about Dietrich. I just adore thinking about Troy and his brother gossiping about Dietrich.
You're writing style is very pleasant to read; I can't wait to read more from you.
