that is not true dumble does not act in the best Interest of those in his care because if he did he would not have hide the stone at the school in first year

Kinda losing me here the magical world is irredeemabley corrupt and bigoted the UK especially so.
The pure bloods even the Light in cannon see muggles as amusing preforming monkeys at best.
The only way to save magicals is ironically French revolution style, a root and branch sweep of the ministry and wizengmot. Otherwise absolutely nothing would change which ultimately is Dumbles and the lights objective, stagnation and a return to the status quo of life around 1890.

There's a big problem with dumbledores explanation.
By giving him a free pass on malfoys getting off and Sirius being illegally imprisoned via the idea of him not being chief warlock at the time.
It also removes any legal rights dumbles had to have any say let alone final decision on Harry's placement.
He's either a corrupt politician who gets Harry's legal guardian out of the way, or he's just a headmaster who is therefore guilty of kidnapping and breaking various other child endangerment laws.
I'm also having a huge problem grasping why a career FOREIGN politician is willing to give dumbledore so much authority over himself. ( Albus deciding what harry can be told etc)
It seems to me that it's not so much that the "manipulative dumbledore" is avoided in this story, but that otherwise intelligent/wise third parties are completely unable to see the plainly obvious marionette strings.

This to me is typical Ron. Don't worry about what anybody else wants or feels, it's only what he wants that is important. Personally think that he had far too many chances given to him. Even right up to the Hallow chase where he abandoned them.

Please get rid of Ron. The only reason he would think of training is because Hermione would do it and he would want to be where she is. He is such a shallow character that I could see why jk Rowling tossed up about killing him off.

They are gaslighting him, and you have written him to be so weakminded that he falls for it. Sure, you present it has them being compassionate and understanding, and try to play it off by Harry ‘realising’ they mean well… but what it is is two manipulative women ignoring his opinions, harassing him and trying to pester him into compliance with something that he has no interest in doing.
