I just wanted to leave a quick note here. I am loving this story so far. It has been amazing and I am looking forward to reading through to the end.
I just wanted to share a quick thought on the talk earlier in this chapter. While others may not have enjoyed it, as a Bible-believing Christian, I appreciated the largely respectful manner in which this topic was addressed. Considering world history, I can't deny that the Church as a formal institution has done significant harm when it should have shown God's love and mercy. So I am grateful that you treated the Christian faith with the respect if not reverence that you did. I will admit that it actually prompted me to peek at your profile if you shared your own faith-based beliefs. Again, I appreciate how you handled the topic within the context of the wizarding world and that you made such a treasured facet of the Delacours' celebrations to be a gorgeous Nativity set.

There are too many times where I expose myself as an intellectual lightweight, but I didn’t understand your reasoning (and still don’t) behind the betrothal contract being the thing that won the trial. Honestly, I understand the dislike of the Veelas by purebloods. Basically, by marrying a Veela, you turn your home into a Veela home. Considering they mostly give birth to girls. Which, in turn, also give birth to girls and so on. Essentially, the Potter house becomes a Veela house, not a wizard house.

this is getting annoying. passive passive passive always passive. now even JS is nothing more than a follower of whatever dumbledore says instead of doing as he said he would. gotta make it pointlessly political and plans that are just as pointless
