i don’t know if you still plan to update this story, or at the very least post the plot you had planned so we don’t die of curiosity (no pressure, i’m being hyperbolic), but i just wanted to say how much i love the story you’ve told so far. it’s so wonderfully written, and you really portray the complexities of each character very well, especially in comparison to many other fics, in which the characters often lack depth. your work does not lack depth AT ALL. the plot is cohesive and well put together, yet not so obvious that there isn’t any fun in reading at all. i really mean this: this is one of the best hp fanfics i’ve ever read, possibly one of the best fanfics of any franchise/story that i’ve ever read, and DEFINITELY the best CedMione fic ive ever read. i say these things in reference to both TBE and its predecessor. Good luck on whatever projects you’re currently working on, i understand that sometimes you lose touch with a story or don’t feel like continuing it etc, but i just wanted to say how amazing this fic really is.

Hi! I just read all of Unforeseen Circumstances and this. There are so many things I like about the story!
The Death Seer stuff is very original, and it works perfectly with Cedric lives. The mental instability/edging toward darkness that Hermione and Cedric face is tortuously delicious. I've never seen a not nice Amos, so Cedric not having a perfect family is also new.

Wow, I seriously couldn't stop reading through this story (Part I and then this) for hours until I've finished all available chapters. I absolutely love it! Ever since watching Goblet of Fire, I've had some desperate cravings for a Cedric Lives type of fic. I'm so glad and thankful for this one!
I like how you're slowly starting to slowly show the Butterfly Effect of Hermione's interference with Cedric's death. I'm looking forward to more ripples in the future haha.
Also, special appreciation for the length of your chapters! As a (sort of) fellow writer, I know how hard it is to write chapters, think of new ideas, plot, developments for your story. So, kudos to you haha!

Good afternoon! I finally worked my way through this chapter - it WAS a long one! I loved it. I like how awkward they are... and how unsure. Teenagers aren't meant to be smooth, even the good-looking ones, like Cedric. :)
