This was awesome! I love how you have them portrayed, even though there were OCC moments, it was warranted! I mean, when out of the ordinary things happen, like Dax getting shot, then the characters are most likely going to act a little out of their ordinary character!

Since you seem to like anime,you should watch 'Bleach'.There's a character in it called Kon,who's personality and awkward citations are quite similar to Daxter's.The complaining,the anger at being disrespected,the constantly being wacked around,(though more so for Kon since he's in a lion plushie body most of the time)and of course the pervertedness...(rolls eyes)I think you should make a crossover where these two meet!Watch episodes 6 and 7 on youtube to see how Kon came to be and episode 15 called 'Kon's Great Plan',which shows more of his personality.He doesn't play that major of a roll on the show as Daxter does in the game but he's still pretty hilarious!So you should just enjoy the rest of the characters on Bleach,cause the other characters are cool too!Especially The main character Ichigo,who like Jak has anger issues!(laughs)I'd really be happy if you like my suggestion! :)

Very good writing you have going here! It's short and to the point each chapter, but doesn't feel choppy and doesn't skimp on needed details. The relationships of the characters are spot on, I think. I'm really enjoying reading this, eager to find out what happens to Dax.
