This is possibly the best story I've ever read on fanfiction... and I've read alot. It's beautiful and addresses some of the issues that weren't properly done in season 5 (after the 100th episode) and in season 6. I don't know if you've watched Bones S6, but people make Brennan look like the victim, when actually it's not completely Booth's fault. The Death of the Queen Bee is one of my top 5 Bones episodes, and I always despaired that there weren't enough fics about it and how heart-broken Booth felt after what happened in the episode before. I loved the ending, it was beautiful. The whole thing was an artwork in itself. If I had an account here, I would definitely add it to my favourites list, no question about it. This was truly amazing. Thank you so much for writing it.

I just watched that episode last night and during her toast I kept thinking the same thing Booth just told her in your story. Great story, wish it would have actually happened.

Sorry I am so late with my review . . . I'm going through a B&B funk & am finding it hard to get motivated or excited by anything B&B related...but having said that, I know that you write my kind of fics - & that is just what I need. Too many angsty fics out there at the moment (I blame HH solely for this).
**"How does a freak like that get so lucky?"
...I really did feel sorry for Brennan during this episode...the way her ex-classmates treated/spoke to her, no wonder she didn't like highschool. I really was wishing/hoping that Booth had stood up for her more at the reunion.
**...you have a date next week, already...it's like last week never happened...so soon..."
...so soon!...that is one thing that I CANNOT understand. He gave up on her...didn't even fight for 'them'...& in the same breath says that he is going to move on...it doesn't give much credence to his love for her.
**"I already told you, I can't change. I honestly don't know how."
...& this was the perfect opening for Booth (HH) to remind her that she already had been changing...but did he?...Did he?...N o o o ! Thank Goodness for you!
**"I'm sorry for all the times I made you feel like you weren't human. All those times that I made you feel like being a scientist and being who you are made you less than the loving, caring woman I know you to be.
...another sore point with me. We often hear of the "cruel" things that Brennan says to Booth...but there have also been many occassions where Booth has said the same to her, but that is not focused on. So again Thank you for addressing many of my personal issues here. lol
...& for giving us the ending that we wanted...that we needed.
Sorry that this was more of a rant than a review...that's my disillusionment showing through...but you did manage to make me forget that for a moment :-):-):-)

I'm so sorry it took so long to review this one, I know the feeling with school work...it's painful!
I really loved it though! You definitely have a way with words. :) and I'm quite jealous of your ability to write dialogue, coz I just do not possess it. haha
I loved the whole part about how Brennan has changed, because she has! I really wish Booth would use that logic on her in the show. He should know by now that she only responds to logic!
I also loved the part where you had Brennan debating whether or not to link her arm through Booth's and then when he started playing with her hair. It's really all so sweet! :)

You have no idea how happy i am to see you writing again! This was honestly so amzazingly woven into the storyline of the show! Esp loved the classic eavesdropping in the bathroom stall scene!
Also -the way you explained that Bones could love by basing it off her friendship speech. Very good fic!

*tear* This was beautiful - just BEAUTIFUL! Awesome awesome! I wanted to kill Brennan's former lab partner, who's name I've already forgotten, and all the others who trashed Brennan. Brennan is so much more worth than them.

I'm reading this when I should be typing out my research paper, so I'm sorry if this review is awful! You just dove right back in as though you never left! A nice little follow up to a nice episode.
