Scarlett has just seen for herself that the O’Hara’s are a wonderful family. She can decide be proud about reclaiming her maiden name. Neither Wade Hamilton nor Ella Kennedy will experience a change, but this marks the end of an era for Rhett and Scarlett. Sad as I am that you’ve abandoned this story, there is still a decent closure. It would have been interesting to see how Rhett fared. Part of me hopes he discovers that he has deep regrets. The other part of me knows he would never admit that to anyone. Thanks for this story!

question if anyone can answer it. when it comes to Rhett terms for Divorce and taking back his name. what are the consequences of that for Scarlett and her kids? in those time in society?
any way if you ever come back and update can you have Scarlett and her kids more as a team. I don't think they'll ever come back to Atlanta and after the divorce is settled and she comes clean with her kids about the ending of it. she would ask where they would want to live or if they would just like to travel around to heal with her? mayne Henry would be around for the kids to help with their emotional health. I would exclude Rhett all together only to self reflect on the damage his done, especially when his French mistress finds out (if she is or not) how she was also involved in hurting Scarlett children (if anyone would tell her when she comes back to Atlanta since she like a few people their.
Their is also this feeling I have that comes back to Wade about being the man of the family now after the divorce and after they healed enough he would ask even to relocate Bonnie resting place feeling that she wouldn't be alone in that cold hearted city. feeling that Rhett is not a good father for him to even visit Bonnie grave. I guess that's a dark thought for Wade to have but I'm just protectively of the kids (being a child of divorce myself). plus , seeing how cruel Rhetts being here I wouldn't put it past him to snatch Bonnie away again out of Atlanta to place her way from Scarlett again. I think she is better off being layed for rest at Tarea.
