This is so adorable. I love this couple and I think you did a great job with it. The Pocahontas reference was beautiful as was their dialect.

Aw! So cute! I like that the Doctor knows the name for "dandelion" in many languages.

"Nope!" he grinned, popping the p.

[Sigh took me all of .000005 seconds to smile like a dweeb. Whatever.]
And then Pocahontas and I burst out laughing.
"—and for once," he breathed, looking her straight in the eye as they simultaneously realized she was pinned beneath him, "never wonder what they're worth."

[Jesus christ my heart definitely did a thing at this part and I don't know what the thing was but it happened]
"Yeah. I thought the parachutes held the wishes. If the seeds hit the ground, it wouldn't come true, but if they floated away…"
"What?" the Doctor whispered, seeming enthralled.

[You little fuckers and your facial expressions and tone of voice and how do you words to make that happen I quit I am done I am DONE]
And thus concludes my extremely helpful, insightful, analytic, constructive review.

Is it weird that I spent a good few minutes trying to puzzle this line out without cheating and reading ahead? : "Murgho bmmogree brrnwe mn wa surrogh finm, gwu hwu?"

And, of course I just have to tell you again that you are an incredible writer. :) I love the stories about the in between with Rose and the Doctor. Just after and just before a life threatening adventure. Peaceful moments like these. And you captured it beautifully

Honestly, reading your stories is like pouring salt on my bleeding Doctor/Rose heart lol. The simplicity of just laying around in a field of dandelions and quoting Pocahontas is what I always picture what their adventures were like, the ones we didn't see. Like we know he loves her during the adventures we see because he sees her cleverness and her heart, but it was in these moments that he kept falling in love with her because she made him want this .. moments where time stops and it's just the two of them.

Such a simple concept, but amazing execution as always. I loved it. I hope they got their wish!

You've written so many amazing one-shots. Thank you for that. This one was very sweet. I love when the Doctor quotes Disney. =)

Leah, this is Matt. I am shocked and appalled at your behavior. I asked you kindly several times over facebook to review my new works of fiction. You have ignored my requests, which is unfortunate because my fanfics are absolute masterpieces. In your own eloquent words-

"Now clicky my author's name to read some ACTUAL fanfiction."

Ahh! So fantastic! A really lovely piece

Very cute. I think that about sums it up.

Oh, good work. That too.

Wow! This is a really sweet story, and I congratulate you on how wonderfully in-character you've made the Doctor. My biggest fanfiction pet peeve is writers having the characters act and speak in a completely different way, but you've captured the Doctor perfectly here - I could hear David Tennant speaking your dialogue in my head. Great job!

Really, really lovely fic. :) You've written the Doctor and Rose perfectly and their fluff and banter... it's in all just a well-written story. Plus, I love the concept of wishing on dandelions.
