This story, though short, was very well thought-out, penned and paced. And I'm glad to see
that Ron has grown up somewhat and is happy with Lavender Brown. I think that without Harry
around to blame for his misfortunes, Ron probably did some deep thinking about how he used to
treat Harry and Hermione, and must have been disgusted at what he found, and must have
thought, "I'm an idiot! And a bloody ungrateful one, too! Who got me a new wand when I
broke my original wand? Harry! Who got me a Yule Ball date? Harry! Who helps me revise for my
exams? Hermione! I really should apologise to Padma. It's time I grew up, I'm not a kid anymore!"
It would really explain how he acted in an adult way at Harry and Hermione's wedding.

Given how lacking in maturity Ron Weasley is, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that he ended
up with Lavender Brown. They are both Purebloods, and she's at the same level of
emotional maturity as him. Ginny has completely lost what remaining marbles she may once have
possessed if she seriously thinks Harry will return to her. No, Miss Weasley, he won't return.
To put it plainly, you're stark staring bonkers!

I normally don't agree with Lavender Brown, but in this instance, I do. Hermione Granger, as per
usual, ALWAYS OBEYS DUMBLEDORE! Hell, she's so slavishly devoted to the Headmaster, she
could almost be his loving wife! Just because Dumbledore has a heart of stone, it does NOT mean
isolating Harry from his friends is a good idea, OR that he is ALWAYS right. Hermione has always
claimed to be Harry's best friend. Just because Dumbledore tells her NOT to do something, lt
does NOT mean she has to obey him. So he defeated Grindelwald in 1945. Big deal!
