I have lost both my parents in my early twenties so I was a big blubbering mess reading this chapter. That being said this is a wonderful start to what I am sure will be an excellent story.

oh my goodness. this was sad, girl. even though I'd pre-read most of it, reading it now in its finished form was very touching.

Okay, well I'm a blubbering mess now! :D It was hard enough for me to go back to college after the death of my dog, I can't imagine trying to do it while under the depression of loosing your parents. I'm glad she had gotten to the anger portion of the stages of grief before she left. It would be so easy for her to use school as a distraction to never really finish mourning their loss. -Especially once E comes on the scene, as I'm assuming he will. ;D
Great job with the powerful emotions. Off to a good start! Glad I decided to bite when I saw your "shameless plug" lol on Eviekinz's thread.

You almost had me crying at the end! I pray that nothing happens to my parents anytime soon... Anyway, onto your story... I loved the beginning scene! I think you wrote it really well! I know I probably couldn't have pulled off that scene as well as you. Poor Bella. So I guess the question is, who's in that black sedan and why? Looking forward to an update!
