So love this. Really, I do. Am shaking my headat Snape being so blinded by hatred to not see The Signs of abuse in Harry. If he had though Harry Potter would have had a very different plot.

It's stuff like this that makes me think that, despite Slytherin being the so-called "evil house", Harry might have suffered less angst there than he did in Gryffindor. It always irritated me how easily Ron and Hermione believed the rumors more than they ever believed Harry's side of the story.
