I loved this story, and it was very well written.
I happen to have a thing for "broken Buffy" fics. No human being, slayer or not, could go through what she went through and be normal. That's why fics like yours speak to me, because they are far more "realistic" futurefics (or S6 fics) that really show Buffy reacting to the losses in her life. Or in this case, not reacting.
Great job, write more like this!

Loved this story, but then I am a sucker for the dark stories. They just always seem more real to me somehow. But back to your fic, I thought it was great. I wouldn't say no to a prequel or a sequel... Keep up the good work.

Wow, poor Buffy. She's so wounded she's just trying to curl up and hide. I love that Faith keeps trying to drag her back out of her pain.

Great story, it's interesting to see Buffy taken down a really dark path. I also like the contrast between her and Faith, that role reversal has always been interesting.
