Nice story. Enjoyed it and like the idea of the guys all finally having a vacation that hopefully doesn't end up with people on the run, fighting for their lives! Ha!

Very well done! Your plot and characters were true to canon and very believeable. I liked your use of varying supporting characters and bits of humor and snippets of knowledge such as Mark knowing so much about Frank's car that the scratch would show up as different to him. You had a few things that were a bit of a stretch, such as the file folder under the car, but in a dark garage, that might happen. I would have liked to see Frank address that point later on as an explaination.

Overall, I look forward to reading more stories from you.

Nice story. Are you going to do a follow up with the cruise? I'm sure they could get into a lot of trouble together.

I do wish this site would alert me when a new story is published - I wouldn't have waited so long to enjoy it and leave a review!

Such a pleasure, too. It's always nice to read something written correctly and grammatically, with a solid plot, lots of character exploration, and a touch of humor here and there. The expositional style didn't bother me a bit; in fact, I liked it. If I have to enter one caveat, and it truly is a teeny one, it's that the judge just doesn't use McCormick's first name. Once, maybe, in a state of shock, but not more often than that, even to others.

Can we impose on you to write more, please? And soon? Pretty please?

As I've probably said before, I appreciate your willingness to serve up a whole, fully-plotted story in one serving. And Frank in peril! It's a sub-species of H&McC fic that I wish weren't so rare. Thanks for tackling that topic.

I do like your depiction of Mark as a smart and observant investigator who knows Frank's vehicle probably better than Frank does. Also Hardcastle as a closer-I wish we'd seen more of that in the series. Don't you think he'd be darn good at extracting information? Both guys seem to anticipate (and trust) each actions.

It reads like the storyboard for an episode-with its fast-paced progression toward the first and second action sequences, yet you take a bit of time off for Claudia and her little revelation about meatloaf.

Thanks!

I wanted to make sure I left a review because I love stories with Frank in them. I do not write and this review is just my oppinion, so don't take it hard. I loved the story idea and I love how smooth and easy it was to follow and read. The very first sentence sucked me right in. How much Milt cares for all his friends. However I was left kind of wanting more character to character dialog, I felt a little like you kept telling us what was happening and not really letting the story tell us. Almost like one of the shows when a person talks to you and tells you what was happening next. But like I said this is just me, you really did do a wonderful job and I was so happy to see a new story posted. Please write more!
