Oh do I ever like this fic! It's detailed, it's got excellent plot, it flows well, descriptive of what needs to be, and easy to follow. I also very much like how Kagome isn't trying to hide anything right now, and can tell SOMEONE about herself. I love how well you have kept the characters IN CHARACTER! They arn't OOC at all! I can't wait to see where you decide to go with this story.
If I may fangirl, just a little... I can totally see Kagome and Jiraiya getting together and going over seals, after she wacks him for hitting on her and mumbling about Miroku. I can also see her being really upset about how far into the future, and won't be seeing her friends ever again. Beyond that, Kagome and Naruto really get along, and become noodle buddies, Kagome with her oden chant, and Naruto with his ramen.
For some reason, I also see Neji developing a crush on her, but I have no idea why that pops up in my head. A lot of shinobi would take notice of her, and I definitely see her gaining a lot of male fans, after they learn (eventually) that she can purify things, and that she is really powerful in her own way, even if she can't use chakra. Pestered by all kinds of males, she would probably become really good at avoiding them. Her own fanclub. Just little things!
I am definitely interested in how things develop between her and Kakashi. It makes me excited! I really do hope that you continue this story, it's already so amazing, and I hope to be able to read more!

This was a really wonderful chapter! I loved the interest of the gossiping gatekeepers. Both of them want to get to know her and they think some of the other shinobi may be interested as well. Kakashi seems to be letting paranoia overwhelm him since he has to keep affirming to himself that he will kill her if she's a danger to the village, and he has already decided he will have to keep an eye on her. I liked that Kagome asked if Naruto could stay while she told her story. The friendship between them is really nice. If this wasn't going to be a Kakashi/Kagome story, it could easily be a Naruto/Kagome story. You've done a great job of establishing how both of them have personalities that draw people in and how both of them trust easily. I also liked the way she stood firm before Tsunade and told her she wouldn't let her question Naruto's loyalty. Of course, after hearing the story, Tsunade still wants confirmation. Yamanaka should be able to provide that, but then he and the others will be others who are privvy to that knowledge. I'm glad she called for the head of the Nara clan, too. I would think she would like his advice on whether to let Kagome help them or not. I am still loving Kagome thoughts that she is stronger than she used to be. Hmmm. Just realized that now Naruto knows who Inuyasha is, but poor Kakashi does not. LOL! I know it has been a year since you last updated, but I sure hope you will be able to update again soon! I am so sad that I caught up to all there is of this story so far. My compliments to the author!

Nice to see her finally believe in her own strength and to embrace the title of priestess! I'm glad she felt some pride in herself. Deciding to leave that area is such a big decision for her. Naruto offered to help her find her friends, but how did he know about them? I assume Shingo will be going with them, too.

Very nice! Of course Tsunade wants her brought to the village. Great way to let Kakashi find out a bit more about her without really finding out anything. They missed seeing her battle the Sound nin, but they have the testimony of the one she was helping. I'm a little surprised she let Sakura do so much healing when it took so much for her to do it. Since her seals prevented the injured guy from leaving her house, I am surprised they let Naruto, Kakashi, and Sakura in. The question now is whether or not Kagome is going to go with them without a fight.

I like the beginning of this. I think you captured her feelings at being stuck in her own time very well. This was a nice way to get her into the Naruto world.
