I reread this again 11 years after it was finished. It's just as wonderful as I remember it being when I first read it. I don't know if you log on ever anymore, but I just needed to show my gratitude to you in some way, even if you don't see it. Thank you so much for writing this story. It's stuck with me for so long and will always be one of my favorites. I hope you are healthy and well, and doing whatever it is you dreamed of doing!

I've reread this fic at least 10 times over the past few years and reread THIS specific chapter too many times to count ... it's just so good! I'm obsessed with how Eamon and Scor interact. I love the way just dont work together as a couple. It really highlights how much better Al is for Scor, even when they arent on great terms with each other. The two of then just naturally go together and it's really lovely to see.

i like the contrast between Scorp and his father and I feel like exaggerating how “weak” he is, even though part of it is maturity in being the bigger person, really shows a difference between the two. i really love how you’ve made Scorp into his own character, more than just his father’s son.
