Can certainly tell things are wrapping up. Even the financial stuff that is sort of fresh to the plot as a whole, is only fresh from a public perspective.

Hahahaha. Yeah, called it back in the chapter where they first saw the maze. And, that whole thing with the maze vanishing at the end, releasing the creatures... that does seem to be right up the wizards' alley. Ugg.

Love how you handled the Weasleys in this chapter. That was really kind, but firm. I almost expected Harry to say "ok, you can stay since you're already here". Now, on to the third task!

That emotional control thing isn't something I see very often when/if his scar is dealt with. Often times, authors will go with the scar making him higher on the negative ones while it's in him, then he has perfect control after it's removed. I like the concept you used here, it feels more logical.

It's funny, my ten year old niece just asked me yesterday, "if basilisk venom kills horcruxes, then why did Harry still have one in his scar after he got bitten in Chamber of Secrets?" I answered her that the venom didn't make it to his scar before it was neutralized. And it looks like, based on this chapter, that you agree with my view.
