This conversation between Harry and the goblins was well done. Normally when people include that conversation, they've got emphatic statements either saying "of course I would do this for X person!" or "how dare you think X person is less a person." Here, you just have him say it like a typical child who feels that is just the way the world works.

The only thing I can think to mention here is... I don't know that Harry would have called him "Snivellus". In the books he didn't start using it until Sirius used it and explained the use to him.

I always enjoy authors who include real reactions and responses. Harry's episode in this chapter for example. It brings the story to life all the more to get those doses of reality in fictional characters.
