Wow! This was a really good first chapter. There are to many interesting things to point out. Loved the L/Naruto interaction, its cute! And the very last line of your story gave me shivers. Poor Minato. Love the images that you use to get feelings/situations across. Please update again soon!

Well, your sentences do need to be edited for greater fluidity. But you have got the basic writing techniques down, even paragraphing so I'll just have to be less critical and more careful in my reading to understand your plot.
