Thank you for such a unique and engrossing story. Just as the last reviewer, I'm happy you left these two with a glimmer of a positive future, but would have loved to see where your talent took this fascinating tale. One of the most original SVM stories I've read. I loved the characters' complexity. I also really loved the glimpse into Romanian culture and history, and how that shaped these characters' lives and personalities.

Really amazing story! It ended with the future looking bright but I hope someday you will continue it so that we see how or where they end up. Thank you so much for sharing!

Poor Sookie can't catch a break...but that was some perfect timing for Eric's arrival.

This is one of the most powerful chapters I've ever read in FanFiction. Very well written! It is truly disturbing what governments can impose on their citizens without any recourse. I'm thankful and glad that Sookie (and your family) were able to rightfully recover their homes but saddened by their states of disrepair.
Then an entirely different turn regarding homosexuality and a person's right to be who they are. Believe it or not, many states in the USA still have laws written against any homosexual acts. However, those laws are considered archaic, unenforceable, against human rights, and are (thankfully) not enforced (unless minors are involved). Our country's Constitution protects our citizens but individual states like to test their ability to control a person's life. Today, it's our private citizens committing most crimes and doing unthinkable acts of violence to others who don't think like them. Truly sad indeed.
Very meaningful chapter, I sincerely appreciate you sharing such heartfelt experiences and thoughts.

It's always amazing to meet someone and think you can easily size them up only to have your allusion compromised by the incomparable truth.

Everything was moving so great for her, then...POW! That's just down right scary.

I loved Eric's POV in this chapter. Having only seen it on tv, I know nothing of motorbike racing and yet it was easy to follow and very interesting to read. Now I want to go see one in person. ;)
- But what a cliffie!

Poor Eric and Sookie...he's lost Godric and Pam...she's lost Jason and Gran. I bet Sookie regrets not giving Eric her phone number.
