Just reviewing to say that chapter was awesome and I really like Cassie Darkblade she seems pretty cool and like a normal Career. I'm not a huge fan of kind and caring Careers, there trained killers for gods sake! Srry bout ranting :)

Is it French? I know amour is love or something like that.
I thought it was really good, but some of the PoV switching was kind of confusing. Maybe try it all in one PoV, then go to the other's view of the reapings? Or do the reapings separately, then the good byes? Of course, these are just suggestions, it's your story, and you are the writer!

I don't like Tran. At all. :P But I do kinda like Day. ;) Haha. If mine don't win, I kinda want her to. :) Update ASAP but no preassure b/c I get the whole 'i've-got-a-million-things-to-do-and-not-enough-time-to-do-them' thing, what w/ high school and all. :) Just update when you can please. :)
