Fantastic start! I have to admit I'm not usually a fan of an OC taking such a central spot in a fic, particularly opposite Tony, but I love, love, LOVE the excellent whump you have going on, and I definitely could see this going in a direction that I like. Keep it up!

Great story, but as usual Tony gets injured. Why is it always Tony who gets hurt? I really like Catherine. She really seems to care about Tony. When do we get the next update?

Wow.That was an extremely detailed,blow by blow account! Made it all the more harrowing to read coz it felt like I was there watching the scene unfold.You still managed to inject Tony's personality into it with his answer to Gibbs' question! I swear I cringed each time he arched on pain...Liked the little expressive eye exchange between Cat and Ziva.Great job!

Actually unless his vehicle was disabled the Secret Service would have thrown (and I do mean thrown!) the Secretary in his vehicle and taken off for a secure location on the assumption that there could be multiple shooters and/or bombers.
And yes Tony will get himself killed being a hero.
