(oops, that last comment about the title of the story was suposed to be a review on the previous chapter.)
When I first read the story summary, I assumed the "family tragedy" would happen in chapter 2 or 3 and it's now way past that and no tragedy yet. You're killing me with anticipation! I hope Bree gets her sh*t together fairly soon. She seemed like a cool kid before.

In answer to your question, I like the longer chapters myself. The dinner between Charlie/Edward was sure unexpected. Nice touch.
I was surprised that Bella never asked the question "why are you telling me the truth NOW?" Her reaction was understandable considering what she's been through. But it still made me sad.

Bella/Quil sex. Wow. didn't see that coming. I was so bummed when it looked like they were going to fall in love but then BAM, he's a jerk for not telling her until AFTER they had sex a bunch of times. and then she spends quality time with "Anthony". Wow. the surprises just kept coming this chapter.

my Dad died from causes related to smoking all his life, so I *really* hate that Bella smokes. If I offer you a virtual foot rub, will you make her quit? ;)
I don't read too many stories that don't have Bella as an only child, or if she does have a half-sister, she's a bitch. It's nice to see Bella as a big sister to someone who's nice.
