Thank you for writing this beautiful story. I would have reviewed each chapter along the way, but I got too into the story to stop and do so. :)
I devoured this. So many memories of my own high school experiences and my first love came flooding back.
I loved the friendship between Bella, Rose, and Alice. The dynamic you created for them was perfect. And I love that they were able to stay close even after high school and across miles.
I think Edward's leaving was necessary. It hurt to read about, and I felt Bella's pain, but they needed the time apart to experience other things and people, and to grow themselves. The way they came back together was lovely to read. He earned her trust and her respect. She realized how he'd changed during his time away. And waiting to really be together until it was the right time ... *le sigh*
So many feels.
Thank you for yet another brilliant story.

I love her thoughts, I love the descriptions, I love how you captured the feeling of being young and in school - pretty much the same as now, only more highs and lows, more uncertain, more wishing for something but not quite sure what. And most of all I love when Edward comes to talk to her by the pool (:

Another great story, though I struggled a little with the drug use in this one as the characters were just teens. I spent too many years as a drug and alcohol counsellor followed by a long stint as a school counsellor to ever be blase about it. I know a lot of people use drugs and nothing terrible happens, but I've seen a lot of horror stories. Anyway, sorry to get on my soap box. It was a great read, and I really enjoyed seeing Edward and Bella grow as individuals and in their love for one another. Thanks for sharing. :)
