Yay it has begun! I have been keeping an eye out for this since you mentioned it.

I love the line " I finally understood why it was called a crush; it was difficult to breathe."

So true and captures the painful joy of crushing.

I checked to see if it's a complete story and I can read it in one sitting but couldn't find anything. I suppose it's not. Then. I'll wait for it. :)

* Tall, lanky and lean. Skin somehow both creamy and gold. Hair messy and awesome and weird, like it didn't know what color it wanted to be: sunsets or pennies.

- Loved the description. The same boy. Very different words. It's hard to manage. You do it.

*I stared at the back of his head for the rest of the night.

- Ahaha.. Very fourteen.

* I saw Edward Cullen with all those boys, his eyes this ferocious green. In the midst of all the music, the hormones, the flirting … Edward was silent.

- Oh ho... I loved this part. It made him totally cool! :)

*I finally understood why it was called a crush; it was difficult to breathe.

- Remember how you described a smile that one time. Like melting butter. Remember how I loved it. Yeah. I loved this as much.

* Oh, no. Anonymous hoochies I could handle but Angela Weber? My heart sank into a sea of drunken, melodramatic betrayal.

- What I loved most is the juvenile tone of the words. Very sweet to remember :)

* We ate cake until we were sick and then stripped down to our underwear to go swimming in the pool. We splashed quietly and talked about the high (and low) points of the evening, agreeing that it had definitely been the party-to-end-all-parties. I told the girls about my pseudo-conversation with Edward Cullen and Angela gasped, almost swallowing water when I mentioned my freak out.

- This is also very fourteen. It feels so nice to remember all these. It feels like I'm gonna enjoy this story.

* Late summer, not yet fall; a warm breeze hesitantly blew over us, jostling the trees, rustling their leaves. I don't know if the others felt it, but I bet they did. There was this undercurrent of anticipation, like things had somehow shifted. Almost, like…our lives had finally started.

- How I loved this part. Hard to explain. I won't try. :)

Yay-your new fic! So excited to read this, love it already. Revisiting those feelings you get when you are that age-it is all at once fun and yet bittersweet, you know? (although I have to admit I experienced those feelings hardcore again when i first started seeing pics/interviews of Rob...totally turned me into a little fangirl! ;) Can't wait to see what happens when school starts, and I wonder exactly what Edward was doing when he came out to the pool to check on Bella...

i think all of your edwards are "stupidcool". i think that is how i'm so sucked in lol! coming from mainly BPOV, he is just more mysterious and it's twitterpation to the extreme. i totally get it. *sigh* those were good high school feelings.

So excited to catch this story in the beginning! I love the slow rhythmic development of your stories, almost like listening to great lyrics. You also give the great feeling of being kind of dropped in the middle of things, where the reader is not required to understand the exposition, just enjoy the ride. As I've said before, Volition is one of my all time faves...but I love me some high school Eddie!

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for this! Can't wait for the next chapter. Is it going to be in both Edward and Bella's POV or like Volition just in Bella's with some outtakes in Edward POV? Either way I am sure it will be fantastic, like everything else you write!
