this is an amazing idea and it is brilliantly written. i love that sarah is more mature but still makes mistakes (it makes her more human!) and your characterisation of sir didymus as a true knight is wonderful (he's not usually portrayed as actually being dangerous, more quixotic). can't wait for more development between sarah+jareth!
(on a side note i didn't really understand jasper's explanation of what he was doing Aboveground... is this mister Prince Snape? who were the different babies?)

Great story. I do wonder why that pixie doesn't tell "Harry" to wish to see the king? Of maybe that isn't allowed? Or has Albus put up some wards so that even if he did wish that Jareth wouldn't hear it? Couldn't the pixie get out of the house and away from the wards and then the pixie wish to see the king? Or couldn't the pixie at least tell some other pixie and they could somehow work on getting Harry out of there or get word to the king or something?

Glad to see that Iarfhlaith isn't completely alone now and that Severus has been healed. I look forward to Dumbledore's punishment.
I like that Jareth rather decisively took out that other wannabe Dark Lord. He needed to send a message like that. Stupid wizards.

I like Jareth's attitude - only he is allowed to mess with Hoggle! Glad to see that Severus managed to make it back to the Underground. Hopefully Jareth will be able to heal him when his own energy level has been restored.
