I hate the casual way Dumbledore just changes people's lives ... as if he had a right. In such fics, I always wish that someone would do the same to him - change his fate to one he would hate - and leave it beyond his powers to change things back. Better still, force him to live through some of the lives to which he has condemned others ... like Harry, for example.
