Thank god things worked out in the end. I was afraid Joker was going to ruin it for them, but it was fun seeing him meddling in their business. The strip club was a nice touch. Very Joker, hehe! And Shep trying to be girly was hilarious!
Also, the kiss this last chapter was so romantic and... hot! I loved it!

Good thing I'm waiting until now to plow through your work, awesome fluff but I don't think I would have survived the suspense! I'm loving how Kaidan is finally letting go and diving right in (almost literally speaking), I hope the writers of ME3 read and take note.

Awesome chapter, Kass! I loved the moment where they both understood that they had fallen for each other for a reason - and that pretending to be someone they weren't wasn't going to work.
Kaidan's resolve to find Shepard gave me shivers. "'I know you can hear me, you bastard,' Kaidan hissed into his comm." was perfectly delivered. Hell, I could hear him! Tingles and shivers and sheer awesome.
I'm almost sad to see it end. More? ;)

My totally inconsequential pointout is purely technical - as I've read, N7 is similar to modern military ratings and is a rating that denotes your career field, rather than a rank.

Joker is really going to be in for it if Shepard finds out what he's been up to. I really enjoyed the part about Joker eavesdropping and "almost falling asleep." It's just so typical Joker. Kaidan is endearingly oblivious. Very cute and I can't wait to see what happens next. /edge of my seat
