I love how you did this story. At first I thought that Jem seemed too forward, but Will would never admit to having such feelings, he'd be too secretive and in denial about it.
And I kind of get the impression from Clockwork Angel that although Jem appears fragile and is often very quiet, that if he means to do something, he does it. He fights ferociously in the book, and I think if he really had romantic feelings for Will that he'd just tell him. He's not the kind of guy who'd agonize over weather it's right or not, unless Will really didn't like it.
Great characterization. The plot feels like an extension of the book. Only negative thing I have to say is watch your use of your and you're; sometimes they're mixed up.

I really liked this fic, since I am a big yaoi fan :) and I think Will and Jem would make an awesome secret couple. With that being said, I just want to make a few points: I like how you put together the kiss scene-complete with anguish and the "Oh, my God, what am I doing?" reaction-but I thought that the morning worked out a little too perfectly after that. Perhaps if you'd organized it when everybody leaves (Tessa and Jessamine to shop, etc.), and maybe Jem and Will have an awkward trip to the Dark Sisters' house. I don't know, I'm rambling. :) Remember tenses, just a few minor spelling things-I spell stuff wrong when I'm excited, too!-and don't be afraid to mix up your sentence structures. There are some really wacky constructions and sounds out there; take advantage! Sorry if I'm being harsh, I really loved it and I'm not doing it on purpose. I'm just really excited about this and I think you're a good writer, but I just think this could make it better. (Hopefully, I did not sound like a bitchy English teacher. . .)
So, yeah. Oh, and one more thing: I LOVE YOU! :) Keep up the awesomeness-because that's exactly what this is-and Will X Jem forever!

I love this story, and I'm really looking forward to the next chapter :D I don't think that it's even possible to write Will in caracter; we don't really know that much about him yet, with only one book out ^-^

In response to anyone thinking you're writing Will out of character - that's pretty easy to do at this stage don't you think? I mean Will's obviously a complex character already and we're only one book in. I bet we barely know him so far.
For now, writing in his character could be interpreted in HEAPS of different ways and I think you did a good job of it :)

Interesting start!
I hope there's more to come from this story, and that you allow yourself a chance to develop the characters and relationships.
I love this pairing - mainly because I find both boys so hot! But I'm inclined a little more toward Jem - I enjoy his sympathetic nature and his gentleness.

Well, I generally don't read slash. But there isn't much choices in the Infernal Devices category but...I actually liked this.
Normally, I always seem to find slash very forced and out of character. But I believed this. Awesome job, I'm looking forward to more.
