Short, sweet, and sad. A beautiful little snippet of a scene that could have been played out many times throughout the 74 years of Hunger Games. I love how the tributes here defied the Capitol, not knowingly, but through a small act of seeing each other as something more than enemies. I like the line, "All of a sudden, I have sympathy for this girl who was, 30 seconds ago, trying to kill me. She just wants her family to know that she loves them and cares about them." Although I think he could have just stabbed her then and there and spared her a more painful death by the mutt snakes. I hope he won and was able to get the bracelet back to her family.
